The Cuillos have a long history in the automotive painting world, before the paint store in Riviera Beach. They came up in and around body shops in South Florida! Jimmy grew up in his dad's body shop in Lake Park and eventually went to work for him as a painter at age 16. Janice Cuillo started mixing paint for Roger Dean at 17 years old, and by 19 she was working in the painting room. She has done automotive painting for Roger Dean and Malibu, and has extensive experience in the field.

After years of owning his own body shop Jimmy got into the distribution game. He became a Dupont distributor in 1985. In 1991, Jimmy decided to retire, but after a few years felt a desire to get back to work. He opened a body shop in Jupiter, Florida for about six years which inevitably led him back to being a paint supplier, due to his success in the industry.
